Putting the record straight

A load of rubbish has appeared on many misinformed websites.  The following should put the record straight.

The incident was near La Louviere, in southern Belgium.

The van driver was overtaking our bus when he realised his exit was coming up. He braked hard and skidded and got caught in our front wheel causing both vehicles to mount the bank and the bus to topple onto the van.

No-one was hurt on the bus but the van driver has to spend some time in hospital unfortunately.

Fortunately we were able to get our own representative on the scene within the hour who was able to liaise the recovery of the coach and any possessions in it, and provide an emergency replacement coach to pull the trailer and the band to Paris in time for a knockout show that evening.
